Finance Department Swabi is the Financial institution of District treasury and deals with the subjects relating to Finance of the District Government and Financial matters affecting the District as a whole, preparation of annual budget statements and supplementary/excess budget statements for the consideration of the District Assembly, accounts and audits of the District autonomous Organizations etc.

The Planning & Development Department is the policy decision-making stakeholder in the field of development in the District. It is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the overall development plans of the District. The function of approval (ADP compilation, allocation of funds, recommendation for approval) is an important activity of the Department.
